Driven by a desire for growth, Jenni continued to embrace opportunities within the disability services field, including interpreting roles within mental health facilities and programs. This path led to The City University of New York’s Disability Studies program. While working in Employee Relations, recurring concerns about ageism, coupled with personal caregiving experiences, inspired Jenni to pursue a Certificate in Gerontology from York College. These converging interests in aging, disability, and effective people management ultimately led to the founding of Certified Nomad.

Jenni’s nomadic journey has been one of continuous learning and adaptation, fueled by a deep empathy for the human experience. As Julie Delpy eloquently states, “I’m an adaptable nomad…My roots are inside of me.” Through every interview, film, and text encountered, the narratives of aging individuals and those with disabilities have profoundly influenced Jenni’s work. Certified Nomad invites you to explore these stories, allowing their shared experiences to inspire and guide your own journey.
